FitQuest is an immersive, gesture-based fitness experience designed to enhance workout engagement and motivation. This was an individual project as part of a class assignment, where the challenge was to choose a wellness activity—any practice that benefits physical, mental, or spiritual health—and design an interactive system to support it. The project required exploring interaction concepts that do not rely on buttons or speech as the primary mode of interaction.
I chose fitness training as the wellness activity and developed a computationally instrumented gym environment where users interact using hand gestures instead of traditional touch or voice commands. FitQuest leverages gesture recognition technology to create an intuitive, immersive, and engaging fitness experience.
